October 2006 - Alumni Account Removal
The Indiana University Computer Science Department has in the past offered
computing accounts to all alumni of the department. Unfortunately, this
tradition is now in violation of the
Indiana University policy on Sponsored Computing Accounts For IU Affiliates
In order to be in compliance with university regulations we are forced to
discontinue this practice. As a result, current unsponsored CS alumni
accounts on sheepskin.cs.indiana.edu are being removed. Email notification
was sent directly to each sheepskin account holder with detailed information
about when the account would be removed. All accounts will be removed and
sheepskin will be decommissioned no later than December 1st, 2006.
